What a phenomenal night we had on January 18th with our Northern Italian Wine Dinner.  Five Wines / Five Courses, Five times the fun!
 
Guest Chef Michael Kanter brings to Mother's his experience from notables such as Le Bec Fin, The Four Seasons, Daniels of New York, to name a few, and preparee a delectable menu to pair with exquisite wines selected by Gina Pio, of the Pio Family of wines.  
 
Menu
  • First Course:  Lobster Cannelloni Fresh Lobster in a potato crust, wine pairing - Mionetto Il Prosseco, Veneto, Italy.    
  • Second Course:  Herbed Risotto finished with Parmesan, wine pairing - Ancora Pinot Grigio Rose, Pavia, Italy.
  • Third Course:  Saffron Crusted Bass on a bed of confit leeks with barbera sauce, wine pairing - Pio Cesara Barbera d'Alba, Alba, Italy
  • Fourth Course:  Bollito Misto Braised Veal, wine pairing - Trabucci Valpolicella "Terre Del Cereolo", Valpolicella, Italy
  • Fifth Course:  Spiced Cheese Cake with candied pistachio crust, wine pairing - Araldica Moscato Passito, Piemonte, Italy.
